In response to ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, we wanted to communicate our current response plan. As the health and safety of our clients, team and the general public are most important, we have reviewed our processes and have made some adjustments to ensure that we are limiting personal contact and implementing best practises.
We plan to continue our regular operations including site visits, quotes and the completion of jobs, until we hear any further instruction from the government.
Since our work is completed outdoors, we feel confident that we can safely provide these services without risk to ourselves or the public. We have completed in house awareness training regarding the COVID-19 virus including the importance of social distancing at home and work. We have also supplied each van with hand sanitiser and ask our team to use it regularly.
In order to follow social distancing protocols, we are implementing the following changes to our site visits, quotes and job completion protocols:
SITE VISITS and QUOTES
For initial on site guttering surveys, we do not require anyone to meet or greet us at the property. On arrival Jonathan will not knock on the door unless requested. If you are home and would like to talk face to face, Jonathan will maintain a distance of 2m and will not offer to shake hands. Ideally as long as any gates are left unlocked when Jonathan calls out, he will carry out the survey without disturbing you.
The quote will then be sent by email after the site visit and this can be approved online.
On the day of the job, as long as any gates are left unlocked so that we can gain access around the perimeter of the property, we will work away without the need to disturb you. In most cases, there will only be one technician on site. Once the job is complete, we will email you an invoice so payment can be made online. We would prefer this instead of a cash payment.
